Media Pathways

Connecting Creativity, Confidence, and Future Opportunities (Grades 6–12)

The Media Pathways Program is a future-focused youth development experience that helps students explore creative interests, build transferable skills, and begin imagining pathways beyond the classroom. Drawing on media arts as a foundation, this program supports young people as they grow into confident communicators, collaborators, and emerging leaders.

Media Pathways is intentionally designed to complement Little Media Creators’ core programs in filmmaking, photography, podcasting & journalism, visual voices, and chess. Rather than teaching a single discipline, the program emphasizes how creative skills translate into real-world readiness, personal growth, and long-term opportunity.

Students engage in guided activities that encourage reflection, teamwork, goal-setting, and presentation. Through project-based experiences, participants learn how to manage creative ideas, contribute meaningfully to group work, and articulate their interests with clarity and confidence.
