The Songwriting, Recording & Music Video Program is a high-energy creative experience that centers student voice, storytelling, and collaboration. This program introduces young people to music as a form of expression, confidence-building, and innovative communication—without requiring prior musical training or technical background.

 

Students engage in guided songwriting experiences, developing lyrics, spoken-word pieces, and performance pieces that reflect their ideas, emotions, and perspectives. The program encourages both individual creativity and group collaboration, allowing students to work together, support one another, and contribute to shared creative outcomes.

As part of the experience, students participate in professionally guided recording and visual storytelling sessions that culminate in a polished final project. The program concludes with a celebratory showcase, allowing students to see and hear their work presented in a meaningful, public-facing way.
